Top 3 Reasons You Need the Clean Access Client
- Protection
The Clean Access Client checks every computer on the network for an updated version of Symantec Anti-Virus and the current Windows Updates. With these protective measures in place, a defensive wall is placed between viruses and the computers on the APU network.
- Security
At least once per day, you are required to re-login to the Clean Access Client. Why? To ensure that APU students, faculty, and staff are the only ones on the APU network. This makes the network more trusted and makes the network as fast as possible for the APU community.
- Speed
Virus activity is the primary contributor to decreased Internet speeds. Because virus-infected machines are not allowed on the network, access to online resources is at peak speed.
All users are required to log in through Clean Access to be able to use the Internet. So if you want to get online, download and install it here and get on your way!
