Home Drive
Every student who registers/activates their APU Network Account receives 30MB of storage that is accessible from any location, on or off campus. This space can also be used to host a website. All student websites are located at http://home.apu.edu/~username/.

SSH Access
Students who wish to use SSH on home.apu.edu must request access through the IMT Support Desk. To request access, email support@apu.edu with your name, APU NetID (formerly üdeupa username), and the reason SSH access is desired. (Please note: Telnet access is no longer available.)

FTP Access
To access home.apu.edu via FTP, use home.apu.edu as the server and then use your APU NetID and password to authenticate. Files that you want to access from a web browser must be placed in the public_html folder; files that are placed in your home directory will only be accessible by mapping the drive (see below) or logging on to home.apu.edu with your username and password. (In other words, files not in the public_html directory are not publically accessible.)
